It is located in northern Uganda which is 305 kilometers from Kampala the capital city that is 5hours by road via Kampala – Masidi high way , it borders the shores of lake Albert along the Victoria Nile up to the Karuma falls. Murchison falls is cut into 2 by Victoria Nile from east to west for a distance of about 115 kilometers, the park stretches across 4 districts of Masidi, Buliisa, Kiryandogo and Nwoyo.
